FILEDOCK

Your files. Your business.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

File processing

Your selected files, text, passwords and results are processed in your browser’s memory. FileDock does not upload them to a server, cloud storage or third-party processing API. Downloads are initiated locally. Workspaces are not saved between visits.

Local preferences

We use localStorage for favorite tool IDs, your manually chosen language and your ad preference. These values contain no file contents. Clear your browser’s site data to remove them. Microphone access is requested only when you start recording, and is stopped when recording ends or the workspace closes.

Hosting and network requests

The hosting provider receives normal requests for site assets, which can include your IP address and browser headers in access logs. File contents are never included. Processing libraries are served with the site. FileDock currently has no analytics, user accounts or database.

Advertising

Advertising is disabled in the default build. If the owner activates Google AdSense, Google may receive network data and use cookies or other identifiers according to the configured consent choices. Advertising scripts receive no file contents through FileDock. Ads are kept outside the editing workspace. You can disable ad loading using Ad preferences in the footer. The operator must update this policy and configure an appropriate consent mechanism before activating advertising.

Google advertising cookies and choices

If Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize advertising across websites. Advertising is currently disabled on FileDock.

Advertising consent

Before activating ads, FileDock must integrate a suitable consent management platform. Personalized Google ads for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland require a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB TCF. The ad toggle in the footer only disables ad loading on this browser; it does not replace a CMP, delete third-party cookies, or change Google account preferences. Once a CMP is connected, it must let visitors review and withdraw their choices.
